Mining projects are spreading at an increasingly accelerated pace. Fueled by an economic system that preys on people and nature, this extractive fever threatens communities all around the world.

We know that our fight is not easy. To defend our territories, we are forced to face giants. But we also know that we are not alone. Therefore, this year we created an international coordination group, to bring together our anger, but also our strengths and dreams, to work together to defend our territories.

As a first step, on August 18th we will coordinate a network of international actions in defense of life. We invite any community or movement fighting against extractive projects to join us. You can contribute in any way you can. Protests, marches, celebrations, whatever makes the most sense in your territories and communities.

Let us build our own futures, our joyful insubordination. Let us cultivate care, mutual support and international solidarity.
